Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and utilizing the Simplified Acquisition method described in FAR 13.106, with Janet Smith to provide assistance with a Corporate level reorganization which will involve space reorganization. The intended contractor shall provide services in support of PBGC's corporate reorganization. Specifically, the contractor shall provide recommendations based on PBGC existing space planning documents to the COTR and PBGC management as to which departments/divisions/ program will be included in the space reorganization. Meet with Senior PBGC staff and representatives of each department/division/program designated as being included in the reorganization to obtain the information such as 1) number of employees; 2) employment level of each employee (GS level); 3) number of associated contract employees; 4) required adjacencies. Utilize PBGC's existing space/program plans when consulting with PBGC's programmer (Group Goetz) to assist in developing program documents that will allow PBGC to better integrate various departments/divisions/programs. The contractor shall deliver detailed reports describing each department/division/program requirements as determined during the interview meetings. The PBGC knows of no other Contractor with these unique qualifications and capabilities. The estimated Period of Performance will begin Jan. 10 thru not to exceed June 30th 2005. This is a notice for intent to award a sole source contract and is NOT a request for proposals.
