- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), is required under an amendment to the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA), as made law in the 2005 Defense Authorization Act, to update a study of residual contamination in Atomic Weapons Employers (AWE) Facilities. The most recent revision of this study was published in June of 2004. NIOSH requires the services of a professional contractor with technical expertise in health physics and project management to provide a draft report under this proposed contract by December 31, 2005, with the final report being submitted by March 31, 2006. A solicitation package issued under number 2005-N-01709, including a detailed statement of work, will be available on or about January 10, 2005, with proposals due by February 11, 2005. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19.502-2(b). The applicable NAICS code is 541990, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million.
