Description

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, and materials except for specified Government furnished property, to construct rock sign bases at various locations on the Arizona Strip. This work shall consist of clearing and grubbing, placing concrete, including reinforcing steel, formwork, and aggregate sub base for sidewalks, curbs, and for the foundations of the sign bases, doing masonry and rockwork, installation of sign frames and signs, all as shown on the drawings and meet all the requirements as specified herein. The Government shall furnish the signs and the rocks for the sign bases. The work is located in Coconino County, AZ. This requirement is 100% HubZone Set-Aside. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The anticipated period of performance is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about January 11, 2005. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
