Description

In house Paging Services Maintenance Service Statement of Work: Scope: To provide the Louisville VA Medical Center maintenance on its in house paging system consisting of base equipment and receivers. The paging system is utilized by the Medical Center to assure timely notification of emergent situations and patient care issues. Contract to run from January 1, 2005 to September 30, 2005 with one option renewal year. Requirements: Maintain the following equipment in efficient working condition including the removal of all ordinary faults and the replacement of parts worn out in ordinary usage: Base Equipment: Access 3000/5000 consisting of Master Encoder C3CB & C3EJ, Telephone trunks (5), Computer interface, 12 slot card cage, PT4F 100W transmitter, Transmitter Interface, Local Control Unit (2), Wide Area Dial-Out Module. Receivers: RPR552 Voice, Alpha Pager (150), TLA872 (50)Coverage will be 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Government Furnished Property: The Government will provide access to the VA facility located at 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206. Delivery of items in need to service: The VA Medical Center will send or deliver receivers (pagers) requiring service under this agreement to the vendor at the expense of the VAMC. The vendor will return receivers using First-Class Mail. Turn-Key Technologies, Inc. is the exclusive importer and distributor of NTIA Chapter 5 approved Multitone paging receivers and Multitone Access 3000 paging systems. TTI has been the sole US distributor of Multitone paging products since their creation in 1992. The Multitone RPR 550 series, TLA 850 series, and FLA 870 series pagers are the first narrow band voice and alphanumeric pagers approved for use in government facilities pursuant to NTIA Redbook Chapter 5 conformance. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract Turn-Key Technologiesrovide In house Paging Services Maintenance Service. This is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for Other Than Full and Open Competition. North American Industry Classification System is 513321. This notice is not a request for offers. Contact Sonja R.
