Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to construct a new museum/curatorial storage facility. The work will consist of general construction of a curatorial storage facility. Construction is slab on grade, wood trusses and framing with masonry and wood siding veneer. Associated site work consists of site prep, utility tie-ins, concrete walks, grading, and landscaping. The NAICS code is: 236220. The small business size standard is $28.5 million. Estimated price range of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Project performance time is 150 days after Notice to Proceed. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit will be scheduled (date and time will be provided in the bid package). The solicitation with specifications and drawings will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 1/06/2005.
