- Description
- Provide professional services necessary for the design of various projects that require a comprehensive range of architectural and engineering services at the VA Medical Center, St. Cloud, Minnesota. Services will also include interior design, site investigations, analysis, cost estimates, preparation of working drawings and specifications, review of shop drawings and samples and construction period services. This would include the services of certified and registered professionals in the areas of Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, and Fire Protection. Are of consideration is restricted to firms located with a 175-mile radius of St. Cloud, Minnesota. The VA intends to award a contract for a period of one (1) year with two (2) renewal option years. Total fees paid under the resultant contract shall not exceed $2.0 Million, including option years. Minimum task/delivery orders shall not exceed $450,000. Minimum task/delivery order to be placed under this contract is $1,000. The Government is uncertain as to the number of task/delivery orders that will be placed during the term of this contract. Award of individual task/delivery orders is contingent upon project funding. Selection will be based on the following criteria: (1) Past Performance in Healthcare settings, maintaining project schedules and project budgets; (2) Overall engineering design experience and capability; (3) Qualifications of staff to be assigned, with special emphasis on field personnel to be utilized and QA capabilities; (4) Cost control effectiveness; and (5) Ability of A/E to produce all plan documents on a CAD system fully compatible with AUTOCAD 2004 and the ability to provide specifications in Microsoft Word. A/E firms, which meet the requirements listed in this announcement, are invited to submit two (2) copies of the completed Standard Forms (SF) 330’s and 331’s by January 12, 2005 by COB. The NAICS code is 541310 with a size standard of $4.0 Million. This solicitation is a total small business set aside.
