Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Landmark Graphics, 2101 CityWest Blvd 200, Building 1, Ste 200, Houston, TX 77042 for a software subscription service for ProMax, Openworks, Seisworks 2D and GeoData Loading software. This support includes customer contact via telephone hotline, Internet e-mail and FAX transmissions. Temporary fixes and workarounds to specific problems are provided to subscribers. Action request summaries ("bug reports") are distributed to subscribers, as are perodic updates to the software and documentation. The ProMax, Seiswork, Openworks, and GeoData Loading software packages are proprietary products of Landmark Graphics Corporation of Houston, Texas. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government; no additional synopsis will be published.
