Description: The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 has a requirement for a wandering patient security system. The security system should have the following characteristics: Controllers should be concealed above suspended ceiling and all doors shall be locked. Frequency should not interfere with any medical telemetry equipment, including Bar Code Medical (BCM) telemetry system. Wrist band/sensors shall include a three year warranty; the rest of the system shall include a one year warranty. Interested parties should submit company profile and product specifications, in writing, to the Contracting Officer no later than December 15, 2004. No fax or e-mails will be accepted.
