Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source contract with KBA-Giori S.A. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302 and 15.002. Award will be made on a sole source basis to purchase and install new Intaglio press components. The press components include a complete plate cylinder, a complete plate clamping device and a plate cylinder bearing assembly. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333293. The resultant contract will exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and the procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 will be used.
