Description

The Architect of the Capitol, located in Washington, DC, is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the design and construction of perimeter security at the U.S. Capitol Hill. Design/Build experience in Government contracting is mandatory. The scope of work includes complete Design/Build services and includes the installation of government furnished decorative bollards, concrete foundations for bollards, vehicular barriers, hardened police shelters with ballistic glazing, planters (concrete structures with stone cladding and masonry), masonry and/or stone walls, sidewalk work, tree pits with trees, ground cover plantings, street lighting, irrigation, curb & gutter work, utility relocation work and electrical duct banks at designated locations throughout Capitol Hill. This will be a multiple award contract (negotiated procurement) with a maximum of three firms. The guaranteed minimum will be $500,000 with a maximum of $10,000,000.
