Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), California State Office has a requirement for a Contractor to provide services to assess the effectiveness of the Community Assistance and Hazardous Fuels programs under the direction of the National Fire Plan. The assessment should assist in the prioritization of strategic, collaborative projects resulting in effective treatments, activities and staffing levels (i.e., federal, fire safe council, etc). The requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns under NAICS Code 115310, Support Activities for Forestry with a size standard of $6.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive request for quotes (RFQ) requiring the contractor to provide a performance-based service contract quotation in accordance with FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on the federal web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or around December 10, 2004, under RFQ number BAQ050004. Interested parties may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation, including the schedule of services; specification; evaluation and award criteria and factors; contract terms and conditions, by going directly to this site. No hard copies will be made available.
