Description

This procurement is a 100% set-aside for firms under the 8(a) Program serviced by the Small Business Administration, Alaska District Office, or by 8(a) firms who can demonstrate a bona fide place of business within the State of Alaska. The estimated dollar magnitude of this project is anticipated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 and the acquisition method is Invitation for Bid (IFB). DESCRIPTION: Repair of approximately 3650 feet of utilidor systems on Fort Wainwright located in Alaska. Re pairs include complete replacement of sewer, water, steam and condensate lines within existing utilidor structures on Santiago Avenue, including service to buildings. Work will also include enlargement of some existing manholes and asbestos abatement. No te: The bid schedule will also include additional work as option items; however, there is not guarantee the options will be exercised. Bid bonds and Performance and Payment bonds will be required. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NA ICS 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $28.5 million.
