Description
Charge, Demolition Sheet Roll 76 ft (1375-01-038-6885 M994) is a roll of flexible explosive, olive drab in color, measuring 76 feet long by 10 inches wide by .043 inches thick. The weight of the explosive will measure 7 ounces per 20 inch lengths. The exact explosive contained in this charge may vary from PETN to RDX to other qualifying explosives. The Charge, Demolition Sheet Roll is a Qualified Products List (QPL) item. QPL-46676-13 contains a listing of contractors qualified to provide explosiv e rolls for the military. Contractors listed on the QPL are: Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Co., Royal Ordnance PLC, and Hitech, Inc. Specification MIL-E-46676 contains complete requirements for testing and qualifying flexible explosive for the QPL (Ref: Automated Data List (ADL) 10001-2114203) and is available upon request. All qualification expenses are the responsibility of the potential offeror. FEDBIZOPPS NOTE 23 APPLIES TO THIS ITEM: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/servic e or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each i ndividual solicitation. The TDP for this RFP is assigned as distribution D. The unclassified CD-ROM will be mailed to the offerors that have requested the CD-ROM and who have their certifications in order to receive distribution D TDP as verified by the U. S./Canada Joint Certification Office, Battle Creek, Michigan. The TDP contains information that has been designated as Militarily Critical Data. Businesses are required to be certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office. If contractors want to become certified in order to receive the TDP for the charge, demolition roll 7 ounce sheet, they must contact the Commander, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS), attn: U.S./Canada Joint Certification Officer, 74 Wash ington Avenue North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 or call the DLIS at (800) 352-3572. This solicitation will be released on or about 15 December 2004.
