Description

The Portland VA Medical Center, 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road has a requirement for 24 hours per day, 7 days per week commercially available hired car (taxi) services as required for transportation of eligible Veterans of the Portland VA Medical Center to include Vancouver, Washington and the Portland International Airport. Services will primarily be provided in Portland, Oregon (Multnomah and Washington counties) and Clark county in Washington. All offerors must be licensed for operation in these areas. Only offers from those firms providing the business of taxi services will be considered. Services are required from approximately 1 February 2005 through 31 January 2006 with four (4) option years if it is in the best interest of the Government. This is a firm fixed price contract. NAICS code 485310 applies to this request for proposal. The solicitation will be available free electronically at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or http://fedbizopps.gov about 08 December 2005. No fax or telephone request will be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. It is essential for offerors to registers on the Solicitation Mailing List for this solicitation to receive notification of any or all amendments.
