Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for a contractor to provide all management, supervision, labor, transportation, materials, supplies, parts and equipment, plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective completion of all services described in the Statement of Work (SOW), titled Chiller Preventative Maintenance. The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance, repair services and eddy current testing but not limited to the aforementioned tasks for four (4) refrigeration machines as follows; 1) One, York 250-ton centrifugal chiller, Model YT C3 D3 B2-CGA; 2) One , York 250- Ton centrifugal chiller, model TY C# D# B2-CGA; 3) One, Carrier 250-Ton centrifugal chiller, Model 19DH 7565CE; and 4) one Carrier 150-Ton centrifugal chiller Model 19DH 4420AC. All work shall take place on site at the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, 300 NE First Ave, Miami, FL 33132. The contractor shall provide a 24-hour telephone line in order for the Court to report unscheduled services calls to diagnose, calibrate, or make required repairs and/or adjustments after duty hours. The contractor is required to respond within 3 hours after initial notification. All contractors/technicians must meet the qualification requirements dictated by EPA, state and local regulations. Upon request, proof must be submitted for review and approval. Contractor whose offices are beyond 50 mile radius of the Courthouse will not be accepted as potential offerors (Map Quest.com shall be used as guide). This solicitation provides for a base performance period plus two (2) option periods. The base performance period shall commence February 1, 2005 to January 31, 2006. The options are subject to FAR clause 52.232-19, Availability of funds for the Next Fiscal Year (APR 1984).NAICS code is 81131. The solicitation is unrestricted. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is contemplated. All contractor personnel assigned under this contract shall be subject to a NCIC (background investigation), performed by the United States Marshals Service. Any contractor employee receiving an unfavorable investigation will NOT be permitted access to the Courthouse complex. The solicitation shall be available on or about December 1, 2004. A limited number of solicitation packages will be reproduced therefore, copies will be provided on a first-come-first serve basis until the supply is exhausted.
