Description

Landscaping Services at the Estuarine Habitats & Coastal Fish Center (EHCFC), located at 646 Cajundome Blvd., Ste 175, Lafayette, LA 70506, for a base period 01/01/2005 through 09/30/2005 with one 12-month option period. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to perform turf, tree, shrub, and ground cover maintenance as described herein in accordance with the standard methods of practice set forth by the American Association of Nurserymen at the EHCFC located at the above mentioned address. Contractor shall provide adequate proof that the company is licensed to perform the type of work specified in this contract. Within 10 days of the award of the contract, the Contractor shall provide proof of General Liability Insurance, workman?s compensation, and vehicular insurance for this site. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is being executed under the Commercial Acquisition Procedures of FAR part 12. The NAICS code is 561730. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. A request for Quotation (RFQ) bid package will be issued on or about December 6, 2004. Quotes will be due December 28, 2004. The RFQ may be obtained by written request only to Carey Marlow, fax number 816-426-5067, at the contracting office address. (Reference the Landscaping Service-Lafayette, LA) Telephone requests will not be honored. An award decision, based upon past performance and price, is anticipated on or before December 30, 2004. The Department of Commerce requires that all contractors doing business with the Government must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive and award from this procurement activity, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
