Description

NAICS: 541330 The Pentagon Renovation and Construction program (PENREN/C) intends to negotiate an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm-fixed unit pricing for Self-Luminious Low Level Exit Path Marking (LLEPM) System. The contractor shall provide and install a LLEPM system that shall enable people to visually identify a path to egress the building in an emergency. The resulting contract will be from the date of award for 12 months with four (4) one-year options. This procurement is set –aside for small business concerns IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541330. Detailed delivery requirement and a statement of work (SOW) will be specified in the solicitation. Work will be performed at government sites in the National Capital Region. The anticipated award date is 3 September 2004. The solicitation will be posted on the following websites http://renovation.pentagon.mil/ and www.eps.gov. Comments or correspondence must be submitted in accordance with the information/instructions contained in the website posting. All written correspondence must include company name, point of contact, announcement number, address, phone number, and email address (if available). Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the aforementioned websites and this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, in accordance with the solicitation, which shall be considered by the government. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. All offers must be received by the time stated in the Request For Proposal (RFP) at 100 Boundary Channel Drive, Arlington, Va in order to be considered. Offers received after the stated time will not be considered (See FAR 52.215-1 (c)(3). All incoming mail is processed through the Pentagon’s Remote Delivery Facility, which may delay guaranteed morning deliveries to the evening; therefore, Offerors are forewarned that delivery by express mail carriers at 100 Boundary Channel Drive after the time stated will be considered late.
