Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25, effective 05 Oct 2004 and DFARS Change Notice 20040930. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside, NAICS 42390, size standard 500 employees. Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for the award of a firm?fixed price contract for TurtleSkin Duty Plus Gloves. The gloves shall be delivered to Freight Traffic Branch, Bldg 1011, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina no later than 05 January 2005. There are four (4) line items with the following specifications: The gloves are designed for vehicle searches! , pat downs and other task that require grip, dexterity, tactile sensitivity, and shall be cut and puncture resistant against hypodermic needle pricks, glass fragments and metal shards; the leather and stretch knit glove is to be lined with cut and puncture resistant turtleskin material. TurtleSkin Duty Plus Gloves, Size: Medium, Quantity: 3696, Unit of Issue: Each CLIN 0004 ? TurtleSkin Duty Plus Gloves, Size: Large, Quantity: 290, Unit of Issue: Each. FOB site: Destination.
