Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood the FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a small business set-aside procurement for a quantity of 4 each, Pentium M Workstations. The NAICS Code is: 334111, with a 1,000 employee size standard. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to Virginia Beach, Va., 23461-2097, within 60 days ARO. Characteristics of the requirement are as follows: Be housed in a 2U 19 inch rack-mounted aluminum enclosure with locking slide rails; 60 Hz 115V 1 phase power supply; Kontron 886LCD-M/Flex Pentium M motherboard; Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz processor with a 2MB cache; 512 MB SDRAM memory; 144GB Ultra 320 SCSI removable hard drive with carrier; RM666FX (SC connector option) NIC in a PCI slot and include a LSI22320-R dual SCSI adapter in PCI slot; internal SCSI jack 0 of the LSI board connected to the removable hard drive carrier; include enough ribbon for reaching either internal connector from the hard drive; be able to operate in a temperature range of plus 10C to plus 45C; be able to operate after non-operating exposure of temperatures minus 20C to plus 70C; support Lynx 4.0. Award will be made based on compliance with specifications and pricing. Proposed items must provide Section 508 Accessibility. This procurement will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties must be able to demonstrate in! writing their capability to provide this item in accordance with the characteristics specified above by December 10, 2004 at 3:00pm (EST.).
