- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support, Orlando, FL to perform a site evaluation of a new avionics building at Al Jabar Air Base, Kuwait for the purpose of CASS station removal and installation. The site evaluation will be the first task and is needed to ensure that adequate space and facilities utilities are present and complete to support the following installations: Four (4) CASS/ HYBRID stand alone stations, One (1) CASS station with EO console, and One (1) HPDTS/CASS station. The second task will include: The removal and installation of three (3) CASS/ CNI stations. One unit is equipped with a HPDTS console. The installation of two (2) CASS/ HYBRID stations. The installation and calibration of one (1) CASS station with EO console. After final installation, Lockheed/ Martin will complete all necessary testing to ensure station integrity. The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-00-H-0103 CSP V. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates the awards to be firm fixed price contracts. No solicitations will be available for this procurement.
