Description
The Military Sealift Command (MSC), Sealift Program (PM5), proposes to acquire, through negotiations, services for the worldwide operation and maintenance of eight Government-Owned Fast Sealift Ships (FSS) vessels. The Contractor shall provide all operational crews, support personnel, equipment, provisions, and supplies to operate, maintain, and repair the FSS vessels. The initial period of performance is 1 year with 4 one-year option periods. The solicitation will only be provided electronically unless there are difficulties that preclude this. You must download the document off the MSC Homepage at http://www.msc.navy.mil, go to Contracts and then Active Requests for Proposals (RFP). Offerors who are unable to electronically download the RFP should immediately contact Ron Ortega or Reyn Schuttler. The contract to be awarded will be a fixed- priced with cost Reimbursables.
