Description
THERE IS CURRENTLY NO SOLICITATION FOR THIS SYNOPSIS. This is a sources sought synopsis only seeking information of potential small business and large business firms that have an interest in submitting as a prime contractor, a proposal for a regional Firm Fixed Price and Cost Type, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multi-Award Task Order ERS contract. Description: In general terms, the ERS work includes investigations, studies, remedial designs, removal and remedial actions of hazardo us, toxic and radioactive waste (HTRW), contaminated soil and groundwater. This description is not all-inclusive of the work, and is intended as a broad, general description. The regional locations include various sites in Alaska, Hawaii, Korea and Japan . The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) is applicable for Korea and Japan. The 2002 NAICS Code for this effort is 562910Remediation Services (size standard 500 employees). Period of Performance: 5 years (3 base with 2 Option Years). Estimated Value: $ 200-$250 million. Selection Process: Best Value. The Alaska District is requesting that all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with a capability statement similar to marketing package used in the everyday course of doing business. The Government will utilize the following information in determining acquisition strategy: (1) summarize how your company is uniquely capable and qualified to handle remediation services; (2) summarize projects completed similar to the project o utlined above. The list of relevant projects shall include the total cost and duration of the projects; (3) provide bonding capacity per contract and aggregate. A capability statement must be submitted in written format (limited 10 pages or less) and mus t be received not later than December 15, 2004 (4:00 pm Alaska time).
