Description

Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to: Alex Smith at J.alex.smith@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is seeking a qualified firm or university to conduct a part-time, leadership/management d evelopment program for twelve employees. The contract is for one base year and two optional years. The base year period is to begin June 1, 2005 through 31 May 2006. The selected firm or university will be responsible for facilitating individual and group development activities; counseling participants on their development; scheduling and providing lectures through graduate level leadership and management classroom training; promoting participation in a formal mentoring program with Seattle district leaders hip; providing and leading an initial and mid-year offsite retreat; leading a 5-day field trip; overseeing the development and performance of team projects; coordinating site visits and special team projects; coordinating site visits and special meetings a s appropriate to enhance and reinforce the program objectives; and maintaining liaison with Corps of Engineers senior leadership and a program steering committee for overall management of the program. A Firm-Fixed Price Service contract is anticipated to b e awarded as a result of this solicitation.
