P RON: AX462580AX, NSN: 3130-01-257-5797, PN: 7-211160040-7, Quantity: 168 each minimum and 504 each maximum - 3 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, applicable to the AH-64 with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. Produ ction Lead-time with First Article Testing is 168 each, 369 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 168 each , 246 DACA. Production Lead-time with Alternate II Clause is 168 each, 308 DACA. This item is restricted to JACO Engineering, Cage Code 1H427 and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Cage Code 8V613, because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. F irms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. All respo nsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing d ate stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (Title 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (Title 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT NOTES: 23 and 26.
