Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Furnish and deliver 25 each 20 standard used cargo shipping containers. Containers (Conex boxes) shall be water and wind tight, consisting of steel walls and ceiling, 1-1/8 hardwood flo or and must be in good condition. Color of containers is not an issue. Prior to award the Government reserves the right to inspect containers for condition acceptability. Proof of age of containers is required; however, containers shall not be older than 1998. NAICS is 423840/Size standard is 500 Employees. The following provisions and clauses for Commercial Items apply to this Request for Quote: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, 52.212.3- Offeror Representation and Certification, 52.212.4- Contract Term s and Conditions, 52.212.5-Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, DFARS 252.212.7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. All offers are due by 26 November 04 by 1600 to Directorate of Contracting, Bldg T-45 West Street, Fort Drum, Ny 13602. Delivery is required on or before 20 Dec 04. Offers can be faxed to Sherry Breton @ 315-772-8277, but it is Contractors responsibility to ensure their offer has been received by this office.This procurement is Reserved for Small Businesses.
