Description

Contractor shall provide board certified or board eligible general surgery physician to provide general surgical services based on patient care needs at the Erie, VA Medical Center in accordance with all terms, conditions, and provisions of the solicitation for the period of one year from date of award, with one option year available. Services to include patient assessment, reassessments, treatment protocols, and patient management as necessary to both inpatient and outpatient beneficiaries of the Erie VA Medical Center, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA in the following settings: ER. OR, surgical clinic, Endoscopy Suite, ICU and minor procedure room. General Surgical Services are to be accomplished 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday and may include emergency coverage during off-tours, holidays, and weekends. Outpatient clinics will consist of a minimum of 8 patients per clinic.
