Description

This synopsis is to announce that the Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Battle Management Wing, Airborne Warning And Control Systems (AWACS), Systems Engineering Group, Hanscom AFB is seeking vendors for an Industry Day to present/demo new aircrew operator seats for its E-3 platform. The Industry Day is tentatively scheduled for Tinker AFB OK 31 March 2005. The USAF is interested in replacing the eighteen aircrew operator seats on each E-3, of its thirty three E-3 fleet. Offerors are reminded that this synopsis is part of market research and is not a Request for Proposal, Quotation, or an Invitation for bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach or commit the Government to any such request. Industry day participation is strictly voluntary and the Government will not provide any reimbursement to those contractors who attend this day. Additional information regarding the Air Force requirements and industry day is available at Electronic System Center's HERBB http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil/rfp.asp. All interested parties are encouraged to submit brochures, pictures, product descriptions and prices.
