- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; quotes are requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. RFQ No. SB1341-05-Q-0089 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 25, dated November 4, 2004. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for one year scientific and technical subscriptions in DVD format. The previous contractor, Information Handling Services, 15 Inverness Way East, Englewood, Colorado 80155-6720, performed satisfactorily and is, to our knowledge, the only known provider. This acquisition is unrestricted and all responsible offerors are invited to submit a quotation. The NAIC Code is 541519 and the size standard is $21M. The following subscriptions are required for a period of one year: CLIN 0001, Quantity of 1, NSF STANDARDS ON DVD; CLIN 0002, Quantity of 1, SAE AMS DVD; CLIN 0003, Quantity of 1, SAE AEROSPACE STANDARDS DVD; CLIN 0004, Quantity of 1, ACI COMPLETE ON DVD; CLIN 0005, Quantity of 1, A.G.A. STANDARDS ON DVD; CLIN 0006, Quantity of 1, AASHTO STANDARDS ON DVD; CLIN 0007, Quantity of 1, BSI COMPLETE ON DVD; CLIN 0008, Quantity of 1, CSA STDS ON DVD; CLIN 0009, Quantity of 1, EUROFILE COMPLETE INCLUDES CEN/CENELEC/LEG; CLIN 0010, Quantity of 1, WWSS/MILITARY DVD INDEX - NETWORK 5 USERS Quotations shall be firm-fixed price and shall include all Line Items in the designated format. Delivery shall be FOB DESTINATION. The delivery point is NIST, Building 301, Shipping and Receiving, Gaithersburg, MD 20899-0001. The vendor is responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt, inspection, and acceptance at the delivery point. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to this synopsis/solicitation offers the best value to the Government. The Government will evaluate quotations based on Technical Acceptability and Price. Technical Acceptability is more important than Price.
