Description
The attached Screening Information Request (SIR) is for the Systems and Hardware Engineering Group, ACB-820. The FAA is requesting proposals for hardware maintenance on the specific Enroute and Technical Computer Data Center (TCDC) equipment cited in the SIR. The SIR is expected to result in a single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract. Funding for this work effort will be provided on individual delivery orders under the basic contract. The period of performance on the contract will be 5 years from date of contract award. The total 5-year award is expected to exceed $100,000. The minimum amount for the total contract will be $50,000. The SIR, in its entirety, is attached. Complete Statement of Work, wage rate determination, and list of specific equipment are included. To accommodate any unexpected programmatic changes, it may be necessary for the FAA to make minor adjustments to the equipment list before award. All work is to be performed at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a maximum 2-hour response time. All service personnel must be OEM certified. The William J. Hughes Technical Center is a secure Government Facility. All personnel must comply with FAA security requirements. Award will be based on a Lowest-Price, Technically Acceptable Criteria. Criteria are shown in Section M of the SIR. This is a full and open competitive requirement. Proposals are due by November 22, 2004, by 2:00 p.m. This is a secure facility. Only DOT and FAA badged personnel are permitted onto the facility. If proposals are to be hand-carried, please ensure that sufficient time is allowed for admittance to the facility. Note: No funding is currently available. Award is contingent upon availability of funds.
