Description

The contactor shall provide all labor, supervision, necessary permits, materials, equipment and services required to renovate various locations on the first floor of the Erie Federal Building, 17 South Park Row, Erie, PA 16501. This contract consists of one base contract as per the scope of work and one option as per Option A; each must be bid separately. The Erie Federal Building is a designated historical site. The contractor must use extreme precaution during this renovation to not disturb the historical surfaces in this building. The contractor's personnel will be required to obtain security clearances prior to working on this project. The NAICS Code applicable to this project is 236220. This procurement is being solicited under the small business set-aside. To obtain copies of the complete solicitation and drawings all interested parties must complete the FORM B document (an attached file to this notice) and mail the original documents with the required photographs to Linda Lewis, GSA Pittsburgh Office, 1000 Liberty Avenue, Suite 1301, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. There will be a walk through of the area on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Only contractors who have submitted the FORM B documents and are cleared will be allowed on the pre-bid walk-thru. Cleared contractors should report to the General Services Administration, 17 South Park Row, Room B009, Erie, PA 16501. Ask for Mike Robie, the property manager.
