Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside, firm fixed price contract for a Stabalized Platform Assembly, Part Number 618434-2, quantity of eight (8), with options. The Stabalized Platform is the focal point for providing the correct degree of stabalization for the Glide Slope Indicator. This is accomplished through the use of a gyroscope, hydraulic cylinders, and electrically operated servovalves. The solicitation will require a First Article testing unit and a Quality Conformance Inspection plan with sampling rates. Higher Quality Assurance Program Mil-I-45208 is required. One (1) Gyroscope, PN-516284-2 will be provided as Government Furnished Material. The delivery schedule is eight months after date of award. Configuration Management per MIL-STD 973 is required. Inspection and Acceptance at source. F.O.B to NAWCADLKE, Lakehurst, NJ. Award will be based on a ?Best Value? method. The methods of factors will be based on Technical (submittal of Manufacturing Plan for P/N 618434-2), Past Performance and Price. Past performance will be evaluated to establish the degree of quality of an offerors previous contract performance for similar types of contracts. The Government reserves the right to make an award to other than the lowest priced offeror, or to the offeror with the lowest Technical, Past Performance risk rating, if the Contracting Officer determines that to do so would result in the best value to the Government. Your company is required to register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. You can access the Internet web site at or https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil or www.ccr.gov It is mandatory to register with the CCR, as your DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System + 4 number) number and your company?s CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. The Stabalized Platform drawings are subject to Export Control regulations and will only be released to firms who are certified with the DLIS for receipt of military critical technical data. It is requested that all interested parties submit a current completed and certified DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement to NAWCADLKE Contracting Office.
