PRON: AX5C0030AX, NSN: 1615-01-332-0312, PN: 145S3657 QUANTITY: Min: 120 each/Max: 600; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, applicabl e to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to Chem Fab, Cage Code 3H339. This requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existi ng unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source (s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source (s). The approved source (s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data t hat maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in the accordance with the design control activitys procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application . A Contractor First Article is required. Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 246 Days After contract Award (DACA). Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to s eek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through the ir respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the A gency. NOTES: 23 and 26.
