Description

CONCRETE The purpose of this amendment is to add the additional information to this combined synopsis/solicitation. Is as follows: Request a not to exceed contract be established for the Heavy Equipment Shop to provide concrete to be delivered to various job sites at Little Rock AFB. If more than one truck is necessary, spacing of deliveries will be specified at time of order. A one-day notice will be given for orders. The types and prices for concrete are as follows: 3000 psi $_____________ per yard 3500 psi $_____________ per yard 5000 psi $_____________ per yard (required for airfield pavement) 3000 psi with 2% calcium $_____________ per yard 6200 psi $_____________ per yard (required for airfield pavement) Contractors should have capabilities to provide certain aspects of concrete such as Add Mixtures, air entrainments, different aggregate sizes and fiberglass. As to the bag mixture we deal with psi requirements and the contractor should know when we tell them psi how many bags per mix. This Request of Quote (RFQ) is hereby extended until 3 November 04 at 4:00 p.m. CST. Quotes should be received by e-mail to: amy.proffitt@littlerock.af.mil or sent via fax to (501) 987-8119. Please indicate when sending in a quote that you have received Amendment #0001, dated: 2 Nov 04. If you have any additional questions, please let me know via e-mail at the above mentioned address.
