- THIS SYNOPSIS & SOLICITATION REPLACES DTNH22-04-R-01216..... The Contractor shall furnish the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, materials, supplies, and equipment to provide NHTSA with human factors support to conduct research to better understand the role of driver/vehicle interaction in crash causation and to identify potential vehicle-based crash prevention solutions. Task Orders will be issued specifying the exact requirements of the tasks. This is a full and open competition under NAICS code 541710.The size standard is $6 Million.The period of performance is for a base contract period of three (3) years with options for two (2) additional one-year option periods.The Government contemplates awarding one (1) Indefinite Quantity contract.The RFP and any other associated documents will reside on the FedBizOpps website at www.FedBizOpps.Gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).Requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted.Estimated date for release of the solicitation is on or about Nov 02,2004.
