- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) bidders must bid on all or none basis. Or equal items are allowed and will be reviewed; bidder must be an authorized reseller of items, offering same or better warranty and service as company where items originated. Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ: F1TTG742930100. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 and DFARS Change Notice 20040930, Standard Industrial Code 3482, North American Industry Classification System Code 332992 and Size Standard of 1,000 employees apply to this procurement. The contractor will provide the following products: CLIN 001 210 cases, FX 9 marking cartridges, 1000rd case, RED, Part # 743A-5300432, mfg-Simunitions; CLIN 002 210 cases, FX 9 marking cartridges, 1000rd case, BLUE, Part # 743A-5303700, mfg-Simunitions. Delivery to be FOB Destination by 15 Dec 04 to Bldg 5424 New Marne Rd, Camp Bullis, TX 78257. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, and price. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225- 7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.224-1, Privacy Act Notification and FAR 52.224-2, Privacy Act, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.215-1, Instructions to Offerors--Competitive Acquisitions applies to this solicitation. Award will be based on lowest priced, responsible offer. The Government intends to evaluate and award without discussions on this procurement.
