- CONTACT Point of Contact Susan Weir (732) 427-5722. MX-9916/UV Image Intensifier Assembly p/o AN/PVS-5( ) Night Vision Goggles. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for the MX-9916/UV Image Intensifier Assembly (IIA), NSN 5 855-01-034-3845, drawing number SM-D-657310-2 and specification MIL-PRF-49052. The MX-9916/UV is an 18-mm microchannel wafer IIA employing a S-20 photocathode with extended red response and a phosphor screen anode. The IIA incorporates a high voltage powe r supply and a microchannel electron multiplier plate with proximity focus on the input and output. The IIA also incorporates an input fiber optic faceplate and an output fiber optic inverter as integral parts of the vacuum tube envelope. Two MX-9916/UV II As are used in each pair of AN/PVS-5( ) Night Vision Goggles. The government intends to purchase this part using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period. The government will procure approximately 9000/year with a n estimated contract quantity of 45,000 over the five-year period. The contractor shall submit their par t numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, too ling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.
