Description

The U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center intends to award a purchase order to Rockwell Collins Incorporated, Cedar Rapids, IA, on a basis of other than full and open competition under the authority in FAR Subpart 6.302-1; only one responsible sour ce and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, in order to purchase thirty-six (36) military P(y) code GPS cards, part #601-1665-02. Stated GPS card is the only one that correctly fits into the Unmanned Air Vehicle for which it is being purchased and is also an approved GPS engine through the military GPS Joint Program Office. Rockwell Collins is the only manufacturer of this specific GPS card and currently is not distributing it to any of its vendors. There is no solicitation doc ument available for this acquisition. Interested sources shall make any inquiries about this procurement no later than 1 Nov 04. Reference note 22, as above shall be awarded utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, notices received within seven (7) d ays after date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the Army.
