- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on a full and open competition basis, Data Quality Support Services for the Naval Medical Information Management Center (NMIMC) located in Bethesda, MD. The contractor will support data quality activities consisting of improving the quality of clinical coding, the accuracy of clinical and resource data, improvements in process effectiveness and efficiency, and improvements in areas such as Third Party Billing, FTE and Impatient/Outpatient Ancillary Workload. It is anticipated that the Navy will solicit a Time and Materials, Labor Hour contract. The base period of the resultant contract will commence on the date of award and continue through 30 Sep 05. The solicitation will include four (4) full one year option provisions, as well as a final option provision which will bring the full potential performance period to five (5) years. The estimated annual (yearly) level of effort is approximately 9,112 labor hours or 45,560 labor hours for the base period plus all options. The Request for Proposal (RFP) may require the submission of technical, past performance and cost/price proposals. The RFP will consider technical proposals more important than cost. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541690; size standard $6 million. In accordance with Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Numbered Note 26, the Navy is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described services. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release at www.neco.navy.mil. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for information received.
