Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular. This acquisition is unrestricted. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California has a requirement for a commercial acquisition for pest control services in accordance with the format in AFI 32-1053. The solicitation number for this acquisition is FA9301-05-R-0004. The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services include: 1) Pest Control Program Monthly Control; 2) Golf Course weed and pest control; 3) Pest control for housing areas; 4) Pest control for commercial facilities; 5) Hanta Virus control; 6) Mosquito and Larvae control; 7) Emergency Services. The base period of performance begins 1 Jan 05 through 30 Sep 05 and 4 one-year options. The NAICS code is 561710 and the size standard for small business is $6 million in annual receipts. The product descriptions provided above are meant to show the Government?s minimum requirements. Offerors can quote with like items, but must submit evidence of capability and compatibility of replacements. Offerors quoting equals must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determine the technical acceptability of the equal item. All bidders must submit completed FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with the offer. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, contact the contract specialist to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Additionally all bidders must be current registrants in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) Responses are limited to 15 pages and must be received no later than (NLT) 10:00 a.m., Pacific Standard Time, October 30, 2004.
