Description

The VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha Division is seeking sources for an after-hours pharmacy. The successful entity would have to have 24 hour prescription filling capability, be willing and able to charge the VA and not the Veteran for filled prescriptions and must be located within a 10 mile radius of the VA Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Prescriptions to be filled under this requirement will be for two weeks supply only. This may constitute the only nation-wide announcement for this requirement so if you feel you can provide the service, be sure to respond to this announcement. Please no telephone calls. If you wish to be considered or if you have specific questions, e-mail the Contracting Officer at Brenda.birks@med.va.gov. All responses and/or questions need to be received by the Contracting Officer no later than November 1, 2004. At this time, this will be an unrestricted solicitation unless it is determined through responses and market research that there will be sufficient small business and/or small disadvantaged and other socioeconomic categories to warrant a set aside action. Please be sure to note your business size and any special socioeconomic classifications. The NAICS code for this requirement is 446110 with an average annual of $6 million.
