Description

The VA Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia (VAMC Hampton) has the need for the services of Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician(s) to staff the Emergency Room/Disposition Clinic on site twenty four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty five (365) days per year (366 days/leap year), including weekends and all Federal holidays observed by this facility. These services shall also include a lead physician to provide emergency department medical director services. Period of service will be date of award through September 30, 2005 with two one-year renewable option periods. It is the VA?s intention to solicit proposals and award contract (s) under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. Section 8153 and pending availability of funds. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is unrestricted. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621111 is $8.5 Million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications.
