Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for a base year and 4 option years to Alliant Defense Electronics Systems (Alliant) under government contract TBD. These procurements will include complete systems which consist of the following components; Optical Sensors, Control Indicators and Computer Processors, for the USN, USAF, USMC, US Army, and various FMS countries in support of Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) requirements. Also included are Computer Processor Kits, O Level and Depot Test Sets. The estimated number of new systems and retrofit kits per lot is: FY05, Base, 50 new systems, 82 kits, delivery Dec 05 / FY06, Option 1, 306 new systems, 110 kits, delivery Dec 06 / FY07, Option 2, 110 new systems, 50 kits, delivery Dec 07 / FY08, Option 3, 50 new systems, 50 kits, delivery Dec 08 / FY09, Option 4, 50 new systems, 50 kits, delivery Dec 09 / Alliant is the original manufacturer, prime contractor and only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge, specialized experience, capability, tooling and technical data to fulfill these requirements. As the only currently qualified production source, Alliant is the only firm able to meet the government’s wartime delivery requirements for these systems.
