Description: The Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory has developed the "Idaho Explosive Detection System" which is a non-intrusive, noncontact inspection technique that can, in 300 seconds, identify explosives hidden in a small cargo truck or similar vehicle. This system will be demonstrated at the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on November 9, 2004. It is INEEL's intent to license this technology to one or more commercial firms interested in producing and marketing this product.
