- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Air Resources Laboratory Field Research Division (ARLFRD) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis with Abiabat Meteorlogical Services, 674 16th Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT 84103 to complete the Joint Urban 2003 (JU03) Field Research Report required by the sponsor, U.S. Dept. of Defense, Army. The Report will closely follow the format of previous field research reports produced by ARLFRD including GAUNTLET and URBAN 2000. An editor/writer is needed to assemble the remaining information necessary to complete the report in close cooperation with ARLFRD staff. Contractor shall provide an introduction, a description of the test design, and an overview of what ARLFRD did and how its contributions fit into the overall project. A final section shall include a summary of results and any conclusions drawn by ARLFRD participants in the JU03. Mr. Biltoft of Abiabat Meteorological Services is uniquely qualified to produce this report because he was at the research site during the conduct of the experiment and participated in planning and reporting meetings. In addition, he has over 20 years experience in preparing atmospheric tracer field research reports for the federal government. ****NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. No award will be made on the basis of requests in response to this notice. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government?s best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement. Any contractors doing business with the Government must now be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
