- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Teaming Opportunity for the Instrument Incubator Program (IIP) NRA which was posted on September 28, 2004. You are notified that the following additional technical requirement is added. Development of Quantum Cascade Laser Based Compact Trace Gas Monitor for UAVs Technical POC: Narasimha Prasad, (757)864-1472, NARASIMHA.S.PRASAD@nasa.gov NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) intends to submit a proposal to develop a Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) based transceiver for atmospheric trace gas detection for UAV platforms. LaRC is seeking a partner who will engineer a wavelength agile QCL transmitter for detection of one or more prominent trace gases such as CO, NO, NO2, N2O etc. Considerations must include size, weight, and volume compatibility, mechanical stability, and temperature stability. The due date for responses is not extended.
