- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division (NUWC) Keyport WA requires 4500 total spacer kits in support of ECP (engineering change proposal) AYC-1259 for landing gear assemblies for the F/A-18 Hornet; including 20 each first articles for each of the 3 drawings. Description: 1500 each spacer kits, bell crank and lower crank (items 1-6) including 20 first articles conforming to Navy drawing 137479 no Rev and associated Boeing specification P.S.13001; 1500 each bell crank and crank upper kits, including 20 first articles conforming to Navy dwg 137480 no Rev (items 1-12) and associated spec P.S.13001; and 1500 each side brace lower kits (items 1-7), including 20 first articles conforming to Navy dwg 137481 no Rev & associated spec P.O. 13001. Delivery of 60 total, 1st article kits will begin 1 Dec 2004. Distribution of drawings is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act to vendors who are currently registered with the Defense Logistics Information Service Joint Certific! ation Program. All vendors requesting drawings shall provide a copy of DD form 2345 with their request. Additional information regarding this program may be obtained at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. NAICS code 336413 applies with 1000 employee size standard. This requirement will be negotiated on a full and open competition basis in accordance with FAR part 13. Final delivery is required before 6 Jan 2005. Offers shall reflect FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Due to 20 day requirement for destination acceptance, this requirement will not be procured under FAR Part 12 simplified commercial acquisition procedures. This request for quote (RFQ) will be posted electronically on the NUWC Division Keyport, Acquisition Division website. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the sit! e for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. It is anticipated that the solicitation package will be available for download via NUWC Division Keyport website (http://www-keyport.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil?NECO/solicitation.htm) on or about 22 October 2004. Award will be made on, or about 29 October 2004. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set f or receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database!
