Description

REGISTRATION SERVICES AT THE NATIONAL MINE HEALTH AND SAFETY ACADEMY, BEAVER, WEST VIRGINIA 25813 The government reserves the right to award without discussions. Negotiations are permitted if deemed necessary. Therefore, offerors should submit their best offer initially in the event MSHA awards without discussions and negotiations. SOLICIATION TO FOLLOW, PLEASE CHECK DAILY. ***NOTE*** FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF QUESTIONS SUBMITTED REGARDING THIS SOLITIATION: Question #1. What is the worker compensation rate for this classification? Question #2. Is the total number of hours 9819? Question #3. Does the benefits and vacation apply to part-time employees? Question #4. Are all employees including the key person eligible to remain with a new contractor? Question # 5. How many carry-over hours are there from previous contractor (vacation days, etc.)? ANSWERS: 1. Please contact the West Virginia Labor Division of the Commerce Bureau in Charleston, WV at 304-558-7890. 2. 365 days x 24 hours per day = 8760 hours, less the reduction hours of 1517 = 7243 hours plus General Clerk IV hours of 2087 for a total of 9330 hours. 3. Yes, however the vacation hours are pro-rated based on the number of hours the part-time employee works in a year. Suggest you contact the U S Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division for guidance. 4. Yes. 5. This information is unavailable.
