Description

Little Rock AFB, Arkansas to Dallas, Texas ? Chartered Bus Service This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. This requisition # F73OPG42680100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business; NAICS: 485510; Dollars: $6M. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1600hrs CST on 12 October 2004. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contacts listed on this notice. Non-personal services: to provide chartered bus transportation from Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas on the morning of 28 October 2004 to Dallas, Texas (exact location to be determined). No services are needed once to the destination in Dallas, Texas. Return service of chartered bus transportation is needed on morning of 31 October 2004 back to Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The approximate number of individuals will be 191 people. Submit two quotes, #1 quoting on a charter bus with no bathroom and #2 on charter bus quote with a bathroom. Market research has indicated that the approximate sizes of available charter buses are 55 (56) passengers and a smaller one at 47 passengers. Please quote with the Best Value in mind for the cost to the Government.
