Description
Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete this project. The principal components of work include but are not limited to the following: Remove existing building foundations at Brookings, Huron, Summit, Tyndall, and Woonsocket; install powered pivot gate at Fort Thompson; replace swing gates at Huron and Sioux Falls; install concrete slabs at Fort Thompson, Huron, and Sioux City; and perform grading for erosion control on the Fort Thompson-Fort Randall transmission line. The work is located Beadle, Bon Homme, Brookings, Brule, Buffalo, Minnehaha, Roberts, and Sanborn Counties in South Dakota and Plymouth County in Iowa. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. All work is to be completed within 75 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about June 25, 2004 and the projected bid opening date is on or about July 27, 2004. Interested bidders must email, fax or mail the Contract Specialist to request the specifications and applicable drawings. DO NOT post any questions or responses to this IFB on IIPS. Any questions or responses posted on IIPS that concern this IFB will not be considered during the evaluation and award process. NOTE: A limited number of copies of the solicitation will be available to those requesting it, on a first come, first serve basis. Additional copies of this solicitation will be available through various plan holders roms. Information hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (Central Time) Monday through Friday.
