Description

Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy proposes a contract action (base plus three option periods) for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under authority of FAR 6.302-3 with only Frasca International, Inc. for flight simulator software maintenance and support. Frasca International Inc. has been found to be the only vendor who can provide these services in support of Frasca International flight simulators currently in use at the USAF Academy. Frasca International is the only vendor found who can support proprietary software. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, however interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement for the Government's consideration. If no response is received by 28 Sep 2004 04:00PM, MDT, to the effect that comparable support services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with Frasca International, a sole source award will be made.
